At Susanne Kaufmann, our skincare philosophy is centred around supporting the skin’s natural functions so it can look and feel its best. We created our Renewing Day Cream to do exactly that. Featuring a unique complex of minerals and trace elements, precious gemstone essences, specialised waters and the nutrient-rich power of fresh bud extracts, sourced from the Alpine region, it works with your skin to help reveal a luminous, revitalised-looking complexion.

Antioxidant oleuropein, sourced from olive leaves, and agrimony plant extract support the skin’s natural moisturising functions and make dry skin more resilient, while a blend of phytonutrients including yam and buckwheat extracts as well as oat kernel oil help fight the signs of ageing and the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

A specific mixture of Schuessler Salts supports and complements the other ingredients within the formulation. The salts act as a bio catalyst to activate the skin’s natural enzymes, hormones and vitamins, thus strengthening the connective tissue, protecting and revitalising dull skin while also supporting the lymphatic system.

How to use

  • Gently cleanse the skin with our Cleansing Gel or Cleansing Milk and rinse with warm water.
  • As a weekly treatment, cleanse the skin with our Enzyme Peel to lift away dull skin cells and optimise the absorption of the Age Restorative Skincare.
  • Massage the Renewing Day Cream into face, neck and décolletage with upward strokes.

Agrimony

Agrimony plant extract shields the skin from harmful free radicals and has an anti-inflammatory effect. It promotes tissue regeneration and activates the production of collagen and elastin proteins.

Buckwheat Seed

With its numerous phytochemicals, buckwheat seed extract helps to protect and revitalise the skin and strengthen the cells.

Oat Kernel Oil

Oat kernel oil contains a lipid that occurs naturally in the epidermis. It therefore supports the skin barrier, to protect and retain moisture in the skin.

Oleuropein

Oleuropein is a natural antioxidant from the olive leaf that is known to cleanse, protect and soothe the skin.

Wild Yam Root

Astringent wild yam root extract promotes cell renewal. It helps slow down the degradation of collagen in the skin, thus protecting the skin from premature ageing.
Aqua (Water)
The natural, spring water is filtered through a special water treatment system that cleans, energises and mineralises the water. It is a good solvent for many raw materials.

Pentylene Glycol

The organic compound of sugarcane bagasse and corn improves the skin's ability to bind water and increases hydration levels. It is also characterised by its antimicrobial properties.

Squalane

Squalane oil is extracted from the press residues of olive oil. The natural antioxidant protects the skin, softens, calms and prevents irritation.

Glycerin

It is present in all waxes and oils. It attracts water to the skin and supports cell regeneration. We only use plant-based glycerin.

Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Oil

Oat kernel oil contains a lipid that occurs naturally in the epidermis. It therefore supports the skin barrier, to protect and retain moisture in the skin.

Bifida Ferment Lysate

Bifida Ferment Lysate counteracts DNA damage and stimulates natural DNA repair. It also increases skin hydration, reduces redness and has a skin-smoothening effect.

Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate

Emulsifier based on plant-based raw materials. With very gentle and effective moisturising properties. It makes the skin supple and smooth.

Propylheptyl Caprylate

Skin-smoothing, synthetic lipid.

Caprylyl-Caprylate/Caprate

Emulgators made from various plant oils that are obtained in an enzymatic process.

Diheptyl Succinate

Diheptyl succinate is a plant-based skin care substance derived from castor oil. It improves skin texture and prevents moisture loss.

Alcohol

The solubility of the denatured alcohol is used in the manufacturing of herbal extracts. The alcohol used in products is dosed in such quantities that it does not dry the skin.

 

Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides

Hydrogenated coco-glycerides serve as an emulsifier. It leaves skin feeling smooth, soft and supple.

Ectoin

Ectoin stabilises cell membranes and lipids, thus protecting against harmful environmental influences. It increases the skin's capacity to store moisture.

Saccharide Isomerate

A plant-derived sugar mixture that is present in similar form in the skin. It attaches itself to keratin in the skin and ensures that the skin is ideally hydrated.

Stearyl Alcohol

Stearyl alcohol is a component of natural plant-based waxes with skin-nourishing properties. It is used as an emulsifier.

Tocopheryl Acetate

It is derived from vitamin E and is resistant to light and oxygen. It is well absorbed by the skin and has a healing function. It acts as an antioxidant and a free radical scavenger.
