Blue Light Defence & Moisturising Mist

Susanne Kaufmann

Developed to help protect the skin against daily oxidative stress caused by infrared radiation and blue light from our phones and screens, this highly effective mist is the perfect companion for our digital lives.

Throughout the day our skin is exposed to influences that can weaken its natural barrier and accelerate premature skin ageing. Infrared radiation and visible light such as blue light from our screens and phones, penetrates deeper into the layers of the skin, which in turn can lead to pigmentation, wrinkles, redness, and dullness. Susanne Kaufmann has created this high-performance, anti-ageing facial mist to protect against these harmful digital influences and leave the skin glowing with vitality every day.

A blend of anti-ageing Ectoin and Q10 help protect against damage, keeping skin hydrated and promoting collagen production, while silk extract regenerates and soothes the skin. In addition, butterfly bush flower extract helps reduce redness and pigmentation caused by blue light. Use daily as part of your Susanne Kaufmann skincare routine.

We are proud to share our Blue Light Defence & Moisturising Mist comes in a bottle made from 100% PCR. We recommend to apply the Blue Light Defence & Moisturising Mist in addition to your daily SPF to best protect the skin.

The eye serum reduces puffiness and the appearance of dark circles, smooths visible signs of ageing and has an energising effect on tired-looking eyes caused by blue light. Both the mist and eye serum can therefore be applied without the hands having to make contact with the skin, making them perfect deskside essentials or saviours for on-the-go skincare.

Ingredients

Butterfly Bush Flower Extract: Proven to protect the skin from damage caused by stress factors such as UV radiation, heat, dryness or the cold. Helps to prevent wrinkles and other skin damage.

Ectoin: Stabilises cell membranes and lipids, thus protecting against harmful environmental influences. Ectoin increases the skin's capacity to store moisture.

Q10: Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) is present in all human cells and is crucial for cellular energy production. It diminishes with age and under the influence of external stress factors in human skin. Q10 provides antioxidant effects and may improve the appearance of signs of aging.

Silk Protein: The moisturising properties of sericin in silk protein protect the skin (in particular the hydro-lipid layer) and prevent it from drying out.

Aqua(Water): The natural, spring water is filtered through a special water treatment system that cleans, energises and mineralises the water. It is a good solvent for many raw materials.

Pentylene Glycol: The organic compound serves as a humectant and moisturiser and has an antibacterial effect.

Polyglyceyryl-4 Caprate: Plant-based with moisturising effect

Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Water : Witch hazel contains essential oils, tannins and flavonoids. Its extract has an anti-inflammatory, astringent, decongestant and styptic effect to the skin. Also a cleansing and antiseptic effect is described. These properties make witch hazel a popular ingredient in face lotions, as well as other personal care products and creams for inflamed and irritated skin.

Glycerin: It is present in all waxes and oils. It attracts water to the skin and supports cell regeneration. We only use plant-based glycerin.
Buddleja Officinalis Leaf Extract: Proven to protect the skin from damage caused by stress factors such as UV radiation, heat, dryness or the cold. Helps to prevent wrinkles and other skin damage.
Ectoin: The cell-protective, regenerative and soothing properties of the stress protective molecule ectoin show excellent results, which are documented in numerous studies and serve as the ideal basis for successful anti aging cosmetics. It is a valuable, highly active and natural active ingredient. Ectoin reduces the effects of UVA induced skin aging and harmful environmental influences. It stimulates cell renewal and protects the skin's own immune system.
Ubiquinone: Q10 is a central component of energy metabolism in the cells, acts as an antioxidant and helps protect against free radicals.
Galactoarabinan: A non-thickening polymer from the bark of the larch.
Propanediol: Propenediol is made from corn starch and is 100% natural. It is a novel ingredient that is used as a surfactant in cosmetics and has an antimicrobial effect. Our propenediol has the ability to bind water. This property means that the skin is supplied with moisture. The skin is not only better moisturized, it also has a much more radiant feel and feels well-groomed. Due to its natural nature, our propanediol is not only a compatible moisturiser, but also ensures that we can do without harmful preservatives.
Saccharide Isomerate: A plant-derived sugar mixture that is present in similar form in the skin. It attaches itself to keratin in the skin and ensures that the skin is ideally hydrated.
Lecithin: Lecithin is naturally present in the human body and one of its basic components because it is a building block of cell membranes. Lecithin is used in cosmetics because of its ability to permanently combine water and fats. Lecithin is therefore an important component of creams, lotions and ointments, but it is also used in soaps and shampoos for its moisturising qualities. However, lecithin not only moisturises, but also facilitates the absorption of other nutrients through the skin, supports the defence of free radicals in combination with antioxidants such as vitamin C and E and ensures an increased moisture content of the skin. Botanic lecithin regulates the pH value of the skin and supports the natural protective barrier of the skin.
Sericin: Silk protein is made of finely milled silk threads of the silk moth caterpillar. The silk worm pupates in the larval stage and spins itself with a very long protein thread. The resulting cocoon is unwound and cleaned. This results in silk yarn, which can absorb moisture very well in its finest pulverised form. It nourishes the skin and smoothes it.
Citric acid: Citric acid to adjust the pH and moisture retention factor.
Sodium Citrate: Citric acid is a natural preservative.
Potassium Sorbate: Potassium sorbate is a natural preservative. It inhibits the growth of microorganisms in cosmetic products.
Citral : Natural fragrance of lemon grass oil. It is not added as an isolated substance, but is always included as a component of natural essential oils.
Benzyl Salicylate: Benzyl salicylate is a declarable herbal fragrance of jasmine, hyacinth and other essential oils. It is not added by us as an isolated substance, but is always included as a component of natural essential oils.
Alcohol: The solubility of the denatured alcohol is used in the manufacturing of herbal extracts. The alcohol used in products is dosed in such quantities that it does not dry the skin.
Geraniol: Geraniol is a natural part of the essential oil of roses. It is not added as an isolated substance, but is always included as a component of natural essential oils.
Linalool: Produced as an intermediate in the synthesis of vitamin E and serves as an odorant. It is a natural component of essential oils. It is not added as an isolated substance, but is always included as a component of natural essential oils.
Citronellol: The fragrance is part of many essential oils, such as rose, geranium and citronella. It is not added as an isolated substance, but is always included as a component of natural essential oils.
Limonene: Natural component of essential citrus oils . It is not added as an isolated substance, but is always included as a component of natural essential oils.
Parfum(Fragrance) :Fragrance with very low allergenic potential and no preservatives.
